    • Discusses the relationship between Artificial Intelligence and the Arts and
      Computational Creativity.
    • Explores how computers can support, enhance, and transform music making.
  • What is Creativity? Discuss the question of whether computers can be creative.

Day 2
Morning Session (10:00-13:00): The Pillars of Creative Computing (Part 2)

  • Optimisation Techniques.

assisted dynamic orchestration.

  • Statistical Inference and Neural Networks.

Readings: H. C. Crayencour, C. E. Cella, Learning, probability and logic: towards a unified
approach for content-based Music Information Retrieval.

Afternoon Session (14:00-18:00): Problems, Examples, and Connections

  • The problem of style transfer: unsupervised and unsupervised approaches.

Neural Networks, D. Cope, Recombinant music: using the computer to explore musical
